Her poetry is inspired by the craving to grasp both the physical and spiritual, and to take hold where they meet in the middle. She is currently working on a chapbook which she hopes to have released by spring 2012. Carolina, Editor Carolina is the alias Carole Towers uses for her writing. She recieved her BA from Connecticut College and her Masters from Suny at Buffalo. She and Jack Wolford,(since deceased) founded Hotmetalpress in 2003. Carolina has twice recieved the Pushcart nomination and she has been published in various literary magazines such as Kakalak, Plieades, Nimrod, Catfish Stew, The Bitter Oleander and others. Her chapbook, Liebestod, was published by Pudding House Press in 2009, but her preoccupation now is publishing interesting writers and artists and writing her own poetry.
